Orthotics are specially made inserts for your footwear that help properly align your feet, improve biomechanics, and distribute pressure more evenly\u2014helping to reduce pain and discomfort.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">They can also assist in correcting postural imbalances that may affect your legs, hips, and spine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Custom orthotics may help with a variety of conditions, including:<br>\u2022 Plantar fasciitis<br>\u2022 Heel spurs<br>\u2022 Shin splints<br>\u2022 Ankle injuries<br>\u2022 Arthritis<br>\u2022 Achilles tendonitis<br>\u2022 Knee pain<br>\u2022 Low back pain<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>What to Expect:<\/strong><br>Your first appointment includes a detailed assessment where your physiotherapist evaluates your foot mechanics and determines if orthotics are the right option for you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If recommended, a second visit will be scheduled to create a precise mold of your feet. This mold is used to fabricate your custom orthotics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Once your orthotics are ready, we\u2019ll contact you to book a fitting appointment to ensure they fit comfortably and correctly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Insurance Coverage:<\/strong><br>Many private insurance plans cover custom orthotics, though a referral may be required. We recommend checking with your provider in advance.
