The Manitoba Government is currently funding private Physiotherapy sessions after having a knee or hip replacement. The funding will cover 6 sessions of Physiotherapy care.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In order to be eligible for the program, you must be a Manitoba resident with a Manitoba Health Card and your surgery had to be after January 1st, 2023. If you had your surgery out of province, you are are still eligible for the program<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The program is considered to be a secondary insurer, meaning that the program kicks in after you have used up any private insurance you may have had. If you received post surgical physiotherapy in the hospital, then you are not eligible for the program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
